Judeira

Judeira is one of at least five known copper deposits contained in a 12km sequence of mineralised Roan sediments within the Kipoi Project area (PE533). It is approximately 6km northwest of Tiger Resources’ recently commissioned Stage 1 HMS Plant that is adjacent to the Kipoi Central deposit.

In June 2011, we completed phase one of reverse circulation (RC) drilling at the Judeira prospect. Significant copper intersects were encountered in all of the seven holes at Judeira South, with two holes ending in mineralisation.along strike to the NW) containing a total resource of 50m tonnes @ 2.1% Cu.

The significant intersections included:

JUDRC021: 94m @ 1.7% Cu, including 25m @ 2.9% (hole ended in mineralisation)
JUDRC022: 76m @ 1.6% Cu including 26m @ 3.1% Cu
JUDRC024: 56m @ 2.2% Cu including 11m @ 5.7% Cu (hole ended in mineralisation)
JUDRC026: 13m @ 5.17% Cu

Second phase RC drilling intersected copper mineralisation in 18 of 22 holes. The program was designed to test for strike, width and depth extension of mineralisation identified by the first drilling phase. The assay results confirmed the continuity of copper oxide mineralisation down dip in the southern mineralised area at Judeira South and highlight continuous mineralisation on sections in the central area and northern limit of the Judeira North area.

Results included:
JUDRC030: 10m @ 1.58% Cu
JUDRC031: 36m @ 0.8% Cu
JUDRC047: 17m @ 1.12% Cu
JUDRC046: 16m @ 1.14% Cu (hole ended in mineralisation)

Judeira outcrop

Earlier drilling programs at Judeira were conducted in 2006 and 2007, when 20 RC holes and two diamond holes were drilled over the southern and northern mineralised areas where artisanal workings were evident.

Tiger plans to undertake some diamond drilling before completing a maiden resource estimate for Judeira in 2012.
